hi, yeh thats the one, its going in a standard 3 foot tank - this should be enough to get good circulation yes?

It would probably be enough, depending on he other filter, but you might find yourself wanting another one at the other end, or a Koralia 2. The flow they put out is so even, it depends how much actual rough water movement you want :).

If it was me I would go for a 2 or 3.

OK thanks three-fingers, i have already got a power head from a elite stingray 15 which is despersing the co2 around the tank but it doesn't quite reach the end of the it so i was hoping to replace it with a koralia, i might go for the 2 as the 3 might be overkill. Why do these vary in price so much, i found the Koralia 1 at wharehouse aquatics for 20.99 and the same model was 46.99 at aquaessentials!!!! The later company don't do them selves any favours with there ridiculous prices do they.

They aren't really ridiculous prices, just take a look at your LFS or places like Dobbies, AE are actually slightly cheaper. It's really the service your paying for with AE.

But warehouse aquatics seem very good so go with them :good:.

i agree that aquaessentials service and selection is second to none and i do use them for most things but that is over twice the price which is a bit much!
