no they have had different colourations breed into them somewhere down the line

No they are not dyed, as truck said they have been bred to get this amazing colouration. I had a pair until one of them died last month heres a pic to show you a male and female, my female was the larger one.

It's not dyed. I've seen friends that have kept these guys a lot. I'm sure they aren't dyed.
So yes, don't worry if you plan to buy it
