Knock Me Down With A Feather...

Lovely looking tank :) my only comment would be the plactic wood thing, perhpas remove it and push the lily into the resulting space?

Sam

Great minds must think alike, I was thinking the same thing the other night! I'm keeping an eye out for some form of real wood 'structure' to replace the not that nice resin roots, and then move the lily back as it realy has taken over the foreground too much. The lily has taken ages to grow though, so I'm reluctant to move it until I have what I want to replace the roots with something less intrusive into the tank space.

Yeh Lily's can be tricky and mine certainly isn't doing well under 1WPG. One other point, the dwarf chain swords might struggle, as I have found them doing crap in my low light tank. But see how it goes, time will tell. If they dont go well, dwarf sagittaria might be an alternative.

Both the e.tennelus and the 'pygmy chain swords' have multiplied from 5 initial plants into loads more. Neither are doing really well, but nor are they doing really badly. The tennelus has been in the tank since day one almost, the p.c.s. were added maybe 4-5 weeks ago....the p.c.s. has spread like wildfire, I reckon I have maybe 25-30 plants from the original 5 now!
