Well, as a person who keeps Kissers, I'll tell you my experiences.
First of all, you really need a bigger tank then you have for one. Probably at least 30 gallons. These fish are pretty active, and they get big.
They are pretty good community fish, but it depends on the fish. I have one who doesn't touch Platy fry.I have another who picks on some fish. If you get one, most likely they will be fine with Danios, especially if you get a young one, and bring it up with small fish. They very rarely eat fish though, they mostly stick to veggies, and plants.
Special needs...well..
They eat algae off live Plants. No Live Plant is going to survive in that tank, because of their strength. They just snap the steams, or break the leaves. So...don't plant your tank if you want Kissers.
Veggies are good for them. Small pieces of cucumber, zucchini, lettuce etc. blanched seem to be a favorite with mine. Basically, though, they will eat most fish food. Except if you get the odd picky one.
But if you ever were to get a bigger tank, I'd suggest Kissers. In my experience, they have more attitude, then other Gouramis. For example, mine will kiss my hand, and she knows how to spin in circles when I twirl my finger.
