Kissing Gouramies

I just got a couple of kissing gouramies last night and i was wonder how fast do they grow? I am getting a 90g to make into a community tank sometime his month..right now they are in a 20g, they are only about 1.5" long, with 4 serpae tetras, 2 bolivian rams, 1 dojo loach, and 1 male betta, and they all seem to get along fine (all will be moving into the 90g..)

They get BIG. They can get to be 8-12"! My lfs has some that are nearly that big now.

They're not going to outgrow your tank in a month, but they do grow at a decent rate. You'll want to move them to bigger quarters sooner rather than later.

yea i knew how big they got, i just wanted to make sure they wouldnt cramp the 20g until i got the 90g or 112g tank....the fish that are in my 20g, and 29g...do you think they'd all be ok together in a 90 or 112?? Betta may go back to his 1g tank, or even stay in the 20g by himself if things do not work out...i wanted a large gourami so that there would be something of similar size for the firemouths...
