Kissing Gourami Dying

Hi

Have Fluval 125 with 5 Black Phantoms, 2 Corys, 3 Neons and 2 Kissing Gouramis.

Came in from work and 1 is just sitting below the water line, breathing, upright but not
moving much.

The other is the same height, flicks onto its side and goes around the tank with the
current, swims a little but not looking healthy.

Any ideas of what is wrong or causing it. Only got them a week ago so a recent
addition but have both been fine, they do like to hide under the filter next to the
heater.

The worst one is no longer with us, just the other one still not really doing much
just under the waterline....help....

He died too. Still curious as to why though.

Hi,

Thats a tough one that could be many things. I had a gouramis once thats scales were falling off but he was swimming around fine.

If you have only had them 1 week take them back to the sotre and get your money back or replacement fish!

It could have been an infection that it caught in the pet store or if there are no obvious signs of infection then it could have just been caused by stress?
