Anybody know anything or heard about something called kissing angel. I went to th eLFs and i saw it he told me its a kissing angel any info about it. Btw he told me that i can put nollies and platies and the kissing angel with my goldies.

not acctually ever heard of it. don't think it exists. names for fish in petshops and fish shops always get changed. try get a pic, if you dare lol i know its really embarrassing but do you like the fish?
what colour is it? is it the normal angelfish shape?

Its like a normal angel fish but thinner and its silver color with black lines. NO its not a kissing gourami its shape like an angel fish. I am not finding a picture.

You sure its not just an angel as they are silver with black lines.

Probably just a normal Angel fish. Like most fish they come in different colours. Are they trying to charge more for it than the normal Angels? If so I think we have our answer.

just an angel fish then, there are two species the scalare that we see all the time in shops, one of the colour varieties you get is the silver with black stripes, and the altum's which get to 2 foot tall so surprisingly we don't see them much in the shops.

there aren't any sub species of fresh water angels beyond that so it's just an angel fish and the shop have given it a daft name.

if its like this its a normal angel

Actually there is another species of FW angel fish, Pterophyllum leopoldii, but they are practically unknown in the aquarium trade, some experts also beleive that varients of P.leopoldii are actually two species with the second species known by the synom of Pterophyllum dumerilii.

Two feet is a bit of an exageration for the height P.altum is able to attain, full grown adults generally reach a height of no more than 20cm and 18cm total length including the caudal fin, they are a big angel fish but no where near the giants i have seen some people on this forum tell them to be.

Just some useless angel fish trivia i thought you might like to know.
