Hi all, i am currently dealing with another outbreak of ich, this time i have chosen to use King British WS3 as it has been highly recommended to me. If anybody has any knowledge or past experience with this treatment it would be great to get some info.

Many Thanks

Jonny

mmmm gotta look more into this range of meds. I have had no dealings with it at all.

thats what we use for ich although thankfully it's been several years since i've had to. :good:

remember half doses for catfish, loaches etc

Thanks for your replys. I am now into the 5th day of the outbreak, spots dropped off over night so if the medicine does work i should not see the spots again, i'm going to continue treatment for 4 - 6 more days and i will report back with the results.

It was the second ich treatment i tried-it was recommended to me and it worked-i'll use it again if i have to- :good:

sorry to resurect a very old thread but i have a question on this treatment, do you just add it straight to the water ? my LFS told me when I brought it to catch the infected fish and cover that fish in it then add the remaining amount from the pippette to the water - - seems a strange thing to do to me.

should I turn the temperature up on my tank when using this ?

Have you googled it? Also have you read up about ich? As you need to raise the temp also as the Ich parasite
Goes through is stages. Well worth reading up first sonyou know what your treating & thus the best way to treat it.
I definately would say catching the fish, etc as this will clealr distress the fish out & make the Ich worse, not to mention possibly damaging the slime coat further hence problem worse!!

When treating Ich (and I had a persistent does lately!) I tend to take water out of the tank in a 1 litre jug (which I only use for the tank) and add the treatment to that and then pour in around the tank to get the best spread of the medicine.
