I left for my cottage one week ago, and decided to leave all tanks as they were and let my fish fast, to see how they do without food. i get home and in my 55 gallon eveything is fine. then my mom tells me my last swordtail got stuck in the rocks and died when i was away, so that kinda sucks. i look into the tank, and there is my red tailed black shark, eating my swordtails body! i was freaked out at first, but i guess thats how it works. at least the shark didnt actually kill the swordtail, it was already dead...

then i go into my room, with my 2 gallon betta tank, and i look into the output part of the filter, where the water comes out, and i see the fins of my betta hanging out. i get really scared, and real unhappy, because i now know he is dead, so i stop the filter. i look back into the tank, he pops his head out of the filter output valve, and swims right out, he isnt hurt or anything. for some reason he was in the filter beside the biowheel. this is so weird i just thought i had to tell you guys!

at least they are all alive, haha :D :p

Sorry to hear about your swordtail... :( I'm glad your betta is ok though... :D

yeah i know. since the swordtails didnt do well (all 3 females died) i decided to get marbled hatchetfish instead. i just dont think the slowmoving swordtails did well with the fast moving other fish....
