kind of fun… had to mix up another batch of my flake food blend…

so I fill a canister of the mix, before I put the big zip lock bags of each kind away today… I fed a pinch of each in to a couple tanks, a couple minutes apart… you can really tell each fish’s favorites… once they are blended an broken into bite sized pieces, they go in the canister I feed from…

these are the component feed flakes that go in my mix…

funny, when they get a couple bites of something they like, then I switched flakes, and they get a different one that they didn’t care for…

I used to buy from Ken's before the trade wars, and liked their quality. But that earthworm flake - none of my fish would eat it! It appeared perfect on paper.

I mix flake too, but I've realized I use so little of it I rarely buy bulk anymore. It lasts too long and the shelf life is uncertain.
