I have bba but do not have a problem with it on my plants. It always comes once I take my driftwood out of the aquarium and spot kill hair algae with API algae killer. Once the hair algae dies all this bba shows up . SO how do I kill it on my equipment and driftwood. Should I spot treat it or use a bleach solution What is the bleach to water ratio and do I rinse the equip. after bleaching it?
I have OD ecel which slowed it and killed all staghorn but sill have bba should I maybe spot treat with excel or is there another chemical to spot treat with.
Also If i do not have this algae growing on my plants does this mean that my tank is healthy . I have no algae growth on plants but mostly wood and equipment.
