Fluval edge tank been running for about 6 weeks now, fishless cycle performed, when the tank was ready added 3 endlers, couple of weeks later a pair of cockatoo cichlids and 2 amano shrimps, all doing well, yesterday bought a pair of lyretail killie fish, turned off lights off when I put them in,later in the night found out male had jumped out too late to save him, female seemed ok but was dead when I checked the tank this morning, ammonia ,nitrite and nitrate all zero ,ph 6.4,I did ph check on LFS water which was ,7.6,same as my tap water, but my tank water is 6.4 could the difference in ph be due to the bog wood I have in the tank?,would I be better off taking out the wood replacing with rock?and could this be anything to explain my killifish losses?
