Killifish and Bettas!

Hi peoples! I have a question...

Would two Killifish be ok with a Betta?

I'd like to get a breeding pair of Killifish, so it would be one male and one female (obviously, unless they were gay, lol!). My lfs has some gorgeous Killifish for sale and I really really want to get some as they are one of my favorite fish.

I'm not quite sure what type they are, but I'm guessing either Rivulus or Aphyosemion.

I doubt it since they are so colorful, the betta might see the male as a threat. Also, if they are breeding they might attack the betta.

Depending on what color and if the killis are a lyretail variety it may or may not work.

The males are an irridescent yellow and the females are silver. They don't have the fancy lyretails either...they just have the rounded fins.

Hey yeah! Thats exactly them! I think they're so pretty.

Well, they stay at the top of the water constantly and get about 4-5 inches. I kept mine with a paradise fish that was just as aggressive as a betta and there were no problems. I don't know if it would work but it's worth a shot because these killis aren't as aggressive as most!
