killie eggs

i have been looking on aquabid at killie eggs that are reasonably priced. has anyone ever bought/hatched killie eggs? was it difficult? my reasoning is that it seems cheaper to buy 20 eggs than a pair of killies.

What species? Egg hangers(plant spawners) are easy to hatch. I have just discovered babies and i just had eggs in a tank without filtration or airation. I'm not sure about substrate spawners. Do a google search.
