Khuli loaches spawned but behavior doesn't match breeding behavior that i read

The loaches were supposed to attach greenish eggs to plants but they are depositing free floating white eggs

Yes I watched them spawn behind the filter. they were the only fish that were back there

They’ll be unfertilised eggs.
