Khuli Loach

One of my Khuli loaches. They usually hang out in the back where there is no substrate just soft soil.

Same here ... I created a pebble free zone on the left side of the aquarium.
They hide in the soil most of the time.
Very little bioload.

I had them but they didn't live long. I believe I had them less than a year. It was interesting watching them wiggle up the sides of the tank. I had a LFS order, but by the time I got up to the store they had died. They told me that fish don't live long in their tanks since it not a proper setting for them. Glad I was a week late in picking them up. They would have just died in my tank. Wondering if it is because my water is very soft that they died?

I used to have some-great fish-for some reason their heads used to remind me of a dog-small though it is. Bit nocturnal for me and the buggers were hard to catch tonce you've got them in there its a devil getting them out. Still like them but havent the room for them any more-I'm into my cories and zebra loaches at the moment.

Great pics, i love them fish, kept them years ago and hardly ever seen them but when i did it was worth it , have not seen them for a long time. I tried to get some for my last trop tank but the lfs did not sell them, well done with the pics
