Kh Fluctuations

The KH of my nano seems to be all over the place. Does it/should it/can it fluctuate much? Mine has gone from 6 to 8/9 in one day before? And the pH seems to follow suit, it makes measureing the CO2 rather difficult and a bit of a pain the a**!

I use API kits that have one drop for every degree KH (not the most accuriate I know ), the other tanks dont flucutate as much, if at all? Could the test kit be out of date?

Do the perment CO2 test kits work ok? Anyone use them with good results?

KH should be stable, especially with your levels.

Permanent CO2 tests are very inaccurate and only suitable for "a quick glance" to see if levels are too high/low.

I understand Eco-complete can vary KH but have no experience of this so cannot possibly comment any furthur. Try a google.
