KH and catfish

My KH is low, about 2 dH

I was reccomended to use crushed coral to raise my KH, but that will also raise my PH.

My PH right now is about 6.8 and it comes out of the tap at 7.0.

I estimate that adding curshed coral will raise my PH over 8.0...

Will this upset my cories / oto cats?

kH is only the tempory hardness of the water
Read this it may help you understand water chemistry a bit better.

As for how it will affect catfish I have no idea.
