Keeping The Tank Cool

ok not something we normally have trouble with in this country, but this week my temperature on my tank has crept up, and yesterday I did a midweek water change to try and cool it donw by changeing 25%, today my temperature is back up too high. without doing water changes every other day, how do you keep your tanks cool.

We live in a black of flats/apartments and live on top floor so as heat rises in the summer its like a sauna when we do have a couple of days of hot weather.

You can float some ice made of dechlorinated water in the tank.

I have frozen water in plastic bottles this week inserting them into the tank when needed. It has worked ok.

I have a fan on a pole, take the lid off and aim it across the top of the tank

Iv got the same problem also because 2 of my tanks are open top I need to keep topping them up.
