Keeping Ramshorn /mts Snails Safe Until They Have Babies

Hi All,
 
Is there any way i can keep rams-horn + mts  and assassin snails separated in the same tank for a period of time so they can have babies ( rams-horn) and then it would provide free food for my assassins??
 
Save breeding them in separate tank.
 
I was thinking about a breeder box, but cant figure out if this would work.
 
I don't get the snails until end of this week. I already have 3 assassins in the tank. im getting a handful of mts and ramshorn. would the manage to have babies before the assassins eat them all??
