well i am having a very hard time with my 10 gallon planted tank, first off it was great had 8 plants living and rooting themselves nicely into my gravel...
now it has been a few weeks later, i have 11 plants in there (2 potted)
and well the little ba$tards wont stay down, i have weights but that limits growth to almost nothing, they are little metal weights wrapped tightly around the bottom of the stems and they are on all but about 3 of the plants (the 3 are able to root themselves, or have a huge bulb on the bottom that i just burry)
but i have heard they will grow better and faster if spread out, but i tried that today for a couple of hours, i have about 1-2 inches of small gravel, no sand.... and so that might make it harder, not sure havent played with sand yet....
but i tried planting one of my plants cant remember the name, check the picture down below.... but they have seperate stems and i could not get them to stay down...... my honeywort does fine.... but all my others are struggling i have noticed they are growing very well
and is it bad/really hard/not able to grow with weights, espeically worried about my microsword grass which does have a weight..... the one that i have noticed does great withought weights and rooting itself is the amazon sword, and or of course the potted plants....
what do you recomend, buy plant weights for each stem i have???
i just need some help and advice on what the pro's do on here.....
here is a pick of my planted aquarium before i added three more plants (java fern, cilia, and another grass)
^^^^^^^^ the plant on the very right i think its moneywort, or something is very difficult to get down, i would like to seperate the stems but i cant keep them down.... please give me some advice, along with my microsword too...
and i will update with recent picks soon im just debating wwhat i should do before i put in my dwarf puffers.... but i need some help quick.... so i can resolve it and then put my bio spira in, then my puffers....
