Would it be a good or bad idea to keep a lone clownfish? The reason im saying is because my tank is quite small so I would like to have as many different small fish as I can. Although would it be better to have 2 clowns that would interact over 2 fish that are just going to be swimming around. If that makes sense?

Im talking about the perc clown most likely.

Thanks

I lost one of my clowns when I started a while back and the remaining clown did not seem right for months I have since added a new Male and she is totaly diffrent I would recomend 2 clowns as they interact and just looks right.

get two mate, they dont act natural in singles imo. Right now at mine ive got 5 clowns, 2 pairs and one single that lost its mate. The single one spends hours looking at its reflection in teh corner. While the others patrol their areas and bob in and out of anenomes quite happily. Just dont seem right to have one
