Hi all, a friend of mine has a problem with fish loss over a period of time, he has had the water checked everything is fine, he has had the dead fish checked nothing found, i said you may have a parasite within the tank somewhere? would a soaking in a salt solution clear up the unseen problem, or can anyone advise please, he has washed the gravel with boiling water and totally striped the tank down.regards john

What size is the tank and how many fish are in it?
Is there a possible aggressive fish chasing these fish around that may have caused them to die?
What is the stocking for the tank?

Please fill this out so we have more info to work with. Often when a shop says the water is fine it actually is not, I've seen too many times when a shop thinks slight levels of ammonia & nitrites are fine.

Also, what brand of water conditioner has your friend been using, and has a reseal been done on this tank, or any silicone used for attaching anything together in this tank.
