My local marine fish shop introduced me to use Kalkwasser ( Powder form) to replacing of the using of Calcium and Magnesiem ( Liquid form)

Direction:
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of fresh water wait 24 hrs and add directly to filter tank for each 40 gallons.

Now, I got a clear water over the undisolved milky powder. What to do next? ( 1 lite of water I got it now )

Drip the Kalkwasser overnight, using a drip line, controlled by tying it in a not, or easier, with a valve. Your probably buying a dearer substitute for builder's lime or pickling lime. Its the same calcium hydroxide solution and its cheaper than buying say Seachem Kalkwasser mix. Kalkwasser Use fully Explained!
