I have just set my tank up today and Iam puzzled with filter system. On my last tank the water out of the filter was mixed with air this putting oxygen in to the tank. In the Vision 260 this seems not to be the case. The water is circling round but with no bubbles ( so to speak).

Is this right?

Most of the gas exchange takes place at the surfface of the water. So long as the filter is "rippling" the surface (which increases the surface area) then I'd not worry about the bubbles (or rather, teh lack of bubbles!!) Very very little oxygen dissolves into the water as a result of the bubbles from your filter.

You can always go for an airstone to help airation in the tank if your worried the Juwel filter doesnt do enough to help oxygenate the water.

Me too - got a Juwel tank but added an aircurtain. Be advised that the aircurtain though will need you to remove it fairly regularly and stab extra holes in - I just use a small kitchen knife because the holes get clogged up and you cannot clean them. Air stones are better but I find them a bit aggressive even though we've got a 40 gallon tank.

you could also add the juwel venturi air system to the powerhead
or any venturi system come to think of it.
I have a spare thats yours FOC, if you want it.
