I know the 190 and 350 represents the rough volume in liters but I'm wondering how much effect on stocking levels does the fact that the tanks are triangular than rectangular?

Stocking in general is a tricky question, as it depends on so many factors.
Basically the best and easiest rule to follow is 1" per gallon of small fish (under 3").
Treat the juwel trigon 190 as a regular 50gal tank, and that's your stocking level to begin with.

The triangular shape doesn't mean too much, merely that some species of fish would prefer a longer rectangular tank as this allows more length to swim, and some fish that are bigger appreciate the extra depth of the trigon.

Practically, for most community fish, the shape makes no difference to stocking :good:.

Cheers, I'm looking at getting a couple of bristlenose plec's and will work out the rest of the stocking from there (some corries, platies and danio's) - any suggestions for a centre piece fish or two for the middle layer of the tank appreciated.

(platies will be the offspring if any survive from my current tribe of platy's)

I'd recommend you buy a young angelfish and let it grow up with your current fish, the danios will be too fast to be eaten by an adult angelfish anyway, and if you bring up the angelfish with them it wont take any interest in eating them :good:.

Also, a couple of pearl gouramis would look nice :).
