Juwel Rio 180 + 240

Could someone who has this tank, or otherwise had one, determine whether the quoted 55 cm (height) for this tank is the actual tank size, or the glass itself (minus the base and hefty top). Thanks

240 litres is the tank capacity excluding the internal filter the water level sits around 1 1/2 - 2" below the top of the glass. going by my rio 180 the sizes on the juwel website includes the hood and base surround whats around 30-40mm more than the tanks actual hight and around 5-10mm on the width and lenght

It's the height from the bottom of the glass to the top of the top plastic frame (goes a few cm above the top of the glass)

Apologies for reviving this thread; can someone with either the RIO 180 or 240 please measure for me (in inches) the height from the surface of your substate to the water surface level? I'd like to keep a pair of Angles, hence my enquiry, before committing to buy off the internet. Thanks
