We have a pair of golden honey gourami in a community tank that, at the moment has three glowlight danios and two guppies. They happily hang around together, but one is very timid about coming to the surface. They are new, so maybe it is fear. Maybe the others are a bit boisterous. But I am a bit concerned it might be the strength of the filter motor in the tank - there is quite a strong current running across the back of the tank.
