Juwel Rekord 800

Just been looking at this tank and think it may be my best bet for the next tank I use. Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with either this specific tank or Juwel in general? Im particularly interested in the filter as I've always used fluval.

I have this tank, its quite good, the lighting is not so great though.
The filter is very slow for the size of tank, although it has a fair amount of media, if you buy it you might want to buy another cheap filter just to increase flow. Its very neat though and maintanence is very easy.

I really wanted the 500 litre bigger version of this tank but I really could'nt due to the space I have.

This tank is perfect, I've had it for 2 years, spectrum is absolutely write, u do need a second pump though, I have a flu valve #2
it also has carbon sponges ect inside to also help purify the water and I've had no trouble with it what so ever.

The whole time I've had the tank I've had no illnesses or fish loss trouble as it is so easy to maintain.

25% water changes fortnightly and 50% every 3 months is key whilst water changing use a gravel hoover.

I would also advise for a Nutrafin Plant-Gro CO2 Natural System to bring out the best in plants.

I found since using CO2 within my tank, my fish seem more active and genrally alot happier

another recommendation within the world of Ebay, I found tank plants very cheap, an amazing 30 for £7 no delivery charge
