does anybody know if the light ubit in the juwel rekord 120 is t8 or t5?

Most likely T8, only a very few of the newest models have T5s

cheers davo . ive been looking for a small 2nd hand tank on ebay to set up as a second tank so i can learn the planted side , people seem to have unrealisticly high expectations with silly reserve prices on ropey old tanks , somebody wants £100 for a 4 year old obscyre japanes made tank with 1 of those crappy filters in the lid , but ive found brand new rekord 120 on there for £74.99 with free delivery . i was going to spend 50 on a used tank so for the sake of another 25 i may as well have a manufacturers warranty.

i hate ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was clearly listed as juwel rekord 120 , comes with heater filter etc . i ordered 1 and got a message back today saying it was just the cabinet!!!! ive asked for a refund . and now the advert has been changed to say cabinet

That's ridiculous. Almost as bad as me listing my iPod as scratched and the buyer demanding a refund as it wasn't in mint condition!

eBay would be great for tanks if people actually delivered them rather than waiting for people like myself to grow up, learn to drive and buy a car!

2nd hand tanks are usually collection only...
New tanks usually have 'express delivery'

the guy is registered as a business seller , and has 100% ( for now) positive feedback . ive messaged him asking for a refund , and also doen an official return r equest via ebay . whats annoying is there is a perfect little tank just 5 miles away from me iwant to bid on , it only has 2 days left and my #138## money is floating around somewhere in cyberspace

My money from eBay floats around now. Just because the so-and-so's that bought my iPod filed a dispute, all my money gets "held" until buyers have left positive feedback!
