Well i trusted my fiancee to clean and vac the tank and she has done an amazingly good job apart from when she took the gravel vac out all the water comtained in it rushed over one of the ends of my light bar. Apparently there was a pop and they went out. The one that received the water has cracked and the other one lights for a second then goes out. can i fix this or is it a new light unit?
Thanks in advance.

New light bar needed. Juwel lightbars are reletivly water resistant so seems like you are missing a seal or somthing.

Juwel lightbars seals should be replaced every 6 months by the book, for the price i replace mine every year just to keep the water tight

Id advise trying a new bulb first...jhust incase. There is power to the unit, as the remaining bulb trys to light.

On my hood, one of the bulbs went, would not strike, replaced the bulb, all good now.

If it works, def replace the seals as well :)

Worth a go I suppose, but the OP said there was an audible "pop" as it failed. Somthing has probably shorted out & gone kapow.
