Hi all,

Can anyone help me with telling me what lights I can use with my Juwel Trigon 350. I have had a look on lots of sites, but the maximum watts i can get for it are 2x 30w for the front and 2x15w for the back. This is not enough for the planted tank that i want :(

Any info would be great.

James

That is all that juwel do for the trigon.
Have you considered adding reflectors to all four tubes
this effectivly increases the light output into the tank.

As for what type of tube to use that wil be best answered in the planted forum

Yeah, it s an option if i cant find the right lights i need. Ideally i would like to keep it all in the same unit.

Going to search some more, but if any1 can help let me know, Thanks,

James

They do this to keep the prices down. Also for the people who don't want a planted tank. If you stuck plastic plants in their like some with loads of light your going to get massive algae blooms!!

It's done for masses see!!!

Good way to upgrade is fitting T5 lighting as they are much brighter for the wattage than normal tubes.
