Juwel Light Help Needed

hope im posting this in the right place, if not im sorry


my daughter bought a jewel aquarium about 4 weeks ago and today the light tube is dim.
she has the light on for a few hours each day and all was well, the tube was bright.
now you cant tell the light isnt on unless you look under the hood.
its a single tube with no starter, the ballast is sealed in the hood
there is no access to the starters in this hood, its all encased in the hood.
any help appreciated

Personally I'd take it back to the shop you got it from, or at least go and speak to them. If you have only had it a month it shouldnt be breaking down already. It could just be the tube, but even thaty should last longer than a month. Juwel aquariums have a 2 year guarentee if im not mistaken. so worst case scenario they should replace a faulty light unit
