Juwel 120 Light

recently got a cheap juwel 120 and replaced the starter fuse and the bulb and yet when i turn it on all i get is a slight glow at one end, is this the dreaded juwel lighting curse? If so does anybody know how to fix this type of fitting?

managed to get this fixed only for the puppy to steal and chew up the end cap

Might be worth adding how you fixed it to help future people searchig like you did

i popped the lid off the light unit and it turned out to be simple dodgy wiring
