Im just looking at c02 systems and swatting up on it for the future when i can have a large tank with plants.

I was just wondering about the bottled c02 cannisters, paintball ones ect... how long do they last, how do they work really and how do you refill one and where when they run out


Seems like a costly process???

Not sure about that, but you might have a problem getting regulators and/or solenoids that would fit a canister of that size. Would be interesting to find out if it would fit.

Then again... looking at some manufactured pressurised CO2 systems look a similar sort of sized canister...

Fire extinguishers seem to be the most popular option with ppl that I've seen. They tend to be around 2kg in weight/size but that seems to be an industry standard in connection sizings...
