Just Wondering

possibly for a very short time only though and only if they are mature enough as in they were just about to be born.........why were you thinking about a bit of surgery to get them out??? very tricky to do without damaging them i should think.

no its just one of my guppys is preg and shes about 2 years old and i was thinkin what if she dies?.....

how long has she been preg, if your planning on a cecearean(if somebody could show me how to spell that i would be grateful  ) i would imagin that would be really hard to do, you would have to like see her die the get her out of the water and cut up and the babies back in the tank pretty quickly i dont think it would work??

It is possible to slice open her stomach and get live babies out, but it has to be done very soon after death. We are talking a matter of a couple minutes, and even then it's risky. Make sure she is in fact dead though. The last thing you want is to kill a sick fish, that might have been treatable.

Smurfy - Cesarean.
