thanks for the concern about the heater guys, but the ebo jager heaters are completely submersible...I`ve had this for years and never had a problem with it...it`s only the cheap heaters that shouldn`t be fully submerge....The pleco is a variant of the L200(green spotted pleco) it has a bluesh tint instead of green thus being called the blue spot pleco
