Just Venting My Excitement...

I have a 10 gallon tank that is way overstocked, so I also have a 55 gallon I just bought recently, and I am setting it up this weekend. Not only will my current fish feel much better in a new and bigger home, but I can get more fish as well, and my 10 gallon can be a species or hospital or quarantine tank. I just need the gravel (coming in the mail) and I am set. I can hardly wait!!!

I have a thing of Bio-Spira. It will cycle the tank in 1 day.

I'd suggest also using the gravel and media from your 10g to start it out too.

i second the gravel and filter media suggestion. remove about half the amount of gravel and a quarter of the filter media from the 10g and use it for the 55g. remember to de-chlorine the water in the 55g first or it'd defeat the whole purpose
