Hi all I have kept tropical fish in the past but things have changed a bit, I am getting my tank next week I thought I would stay away from marine so tropical it is, there are so many filters and heaters on the market so just need a little help in that department the tank will hold 300 ltr I did look at the Nexx filters are they good ... thanks for any help Richard

tbh I have no experience with buying separate filters as I have always had ones that come with the tank, so I cannot give any advise on what makes are best etc.. hopefully someone might comment with their recommendations. Heater wise you'll prob be looking for an 300w heater if its a 300 litre tank.
