Hello everyone,

My name is Chris, aged 65 years, proud owner of a new aquarium. Just bought six black neons, am watching them at this moment as I type this. Will probably ask lots of questions, hope you are patient.

Just got one question at the mo, my feeding flakes look rather large, do I need to break them up?

Thanks again for reading,

Chris

Welcome to the board, members will answer your question in the beginner section, you will get more replies, good luck.

the flakes get softer in the water they have no problem eating them

bigger flakes i found are better bc small flakes spread fast and not all will be eaten by fish ...
the bigger the flakes the less mess it would make

also easyer to clean up a few big flakes (uneaten\) then lots of small flakes

good luck with your black neons !

they are amazing fish

really pritty in big groups!!!
