then i reckon thats me done collecting LR (for now)picking it up tonight
so all in all £50 for 15kg aint so bad, but to be honest i'm glad i got it so cheap, it's the kind of LR only a mother LR could love, the tank was pretty neglected and dark looking and to be honest and my first instinct was to walk away, but following advice gotten from here i had a good sniff first. I felt sorry for the guy in some respects (not the reason i bought the rock tho) as he had obviously become disillusioned with the whole thing, I dont know for sure but i got the impression he just threw a load of cash into getting a system together without researching properly, kept telling me how lovely marine tanks are when done properly. the tank was about 450l i think he said, and there was 1 lonely looking clown fish in there which i thought hard about rescuing but in the end i had to think about the health of my own tank so i left him behind 
there also seemed to be quite a bit of what i thought was cyano in there so first thing on getting home was to scrub the bejesus out of the rock, well anyway after the scrubbing it's now in my tank, i'm not expecting to see much in the way of hitchikers from this stuff, pics etc will be posted in my journal in due course, i know this sounds daft but i actually think i might have too much now 
so some of it will be relegated to the sump in time.......... Kevin
