hey guys
I just recieved 2 x bolivian rams. (abot 1" 3/4 in length) They are not showing any of their wonderful colours yet which im putting down to age/transportation.
Only been in the tank 1 hour now and already settling in.
I asked the company i ordered from to send me a mating pair. They explained they would try but explained this could be difficult.
So far they are following each other everywhere around the tank and occasionaly touch each other on the sides with their mouths.
Questions i have are
1. How long/old before colouration sets in? (im aware of maintaining great water quality)
2. What age do they need to be to breed?
3. What behaviour shall i look for to indicate the 2 rams are a breeding pair?
ty again guys
