Hi
Have just re planted tank Thursday and today have noticed fish are swimming oddly and the female guppy looks very thin around the stomach area and the head and tail light fish are swimming very slow in a upward direction. Have tested Ph level and its in between 7.2 – 7.6 and PH high range is 7.4 Ammonia is 0.25 and Nitrate 0 but the Nitrite is 0.50 I have add some Stress Zyme but is there anything else I can do the Pet Smart store is open tomorrow so I can get something there. Thanks Ivor

your ammonia is rather high: ideally should be 0, so they could be suffering with ammonia poisoning. I'd suggest a large wtare change to bring that down (30%) replacing with dechlorinated water of the same temp.

Your nitrites are exceptionally high also at 50 ppm.. should be at 0
How old is the tank, and what fish does it have in it?

Hi The tank is about 8 weeks old 36" X 18" X 12" Just re-planted, Fish are 5 neons, 5 Head & Tail light fish, 2 chinese algae eaters, 2 Guppies & 7 baby ones, 3 Platy,s, and 1 (6") Pleco. I have only a 3 gallon bucket around 14 litres. i think i will have to buy a water butt from a garden centre, im in a hard water area and will have to leave it over night. i would also need a second heater. Regards Ivor

Added to many fish too soon and the tank isn't cycled and this is why you are losing fish, i would recommend a water change, how many gallons is that as it looks overstocked to me.
The guppy being thin is not a good sign is she still eating but not putting on weight, what does it look like when she goes to the toilet, is the anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

Hi its about 23 gallons, 104 litres i did leave it several weeks before adding fish. The guppy is eating but not sure if putting on weight to soon only noticed today the anus does not look red and enlarged will keep an eye on her when she goes to the toilet. I do wish id taken the fish out before i replanted, i have a smaller tank at my brothers which i was going to set up as a quarantine tank. will take out 3 gallons tomorrow then try to get a bigger container Thanks Ivor

The reason why i asked if she is really thin she could have internal parasites or fish tb, can you issolate to watch her.

it is better than nothing, but completely pulling her out would be better. Fish TB can be nasty to deal wiht and get rid of, so don't want that spreading. Also, be sure to wear gloves when you handle the water as fish TB can spread to humans. When you look at this fish's spine, is it curved or bent at all?

My best recomendation is to isolate her and see if she, along wiht the rest of your fish perk up with better water.

Heres the first one

Heres the second as you can see the belly area is flat she is eating well her toilet is very fine white strands. Could she be sick because i have just started to give them frozen food? Thanks Ivor

Wow she bad get her out of the tank quick, sorry to say this but i would put her down, she isn't going to make it.

Being like that with long stringy white poo can mean internal parasites, or fish tb, can't cure either so outcome destroy the fish before it infects the rest if not already.
