So, my school is dumping their turtle tank. The turtles have been re-homed into the ecology center we created in the center of the building. There were a large collection of rocks in that tank for the turtles to bathe on.

Anyway, the rocks have been fully dried out already, and they are big, beautiful rocks. What do I need to do to prepare them for my tropical tank? I currently have them baking in the sun, but I'm not sure if I should just give them a quick scrub and use them, or if I need to do something more complicated. Any direction would be appreciated.

hey eagle in hear a weak milton solution works well for sterilisation,

its basically baby bottle sterilisation fluid.
a weak solution will work a treat :good:
