Just Noticed Ich!

Hi all,

I have just been downstairs to check on my fish, and I have noticed that they all have a load of white spots, and as this is all new to my, I have never dealt with it before, so I am going to go to my LFS 2moro.

I was wondering, in the mean time is there anything I can do to help them until I can treat them?

For now leave the light off and gradually increase the temp to 28+C

When I last tested the water ( mid week ) the ammonia was 0 the nitrite was 0 and the nitrate was 5, I usually have the temp at 28C all of the time.

Its best to only raise temp when you have the med.
You need to get the med fast as whitespot can be a fast killer once it invades the gills on the fish.
