Hey everyone,

Not an emergency as such, but something that might require some action.

My room is being redecorated in the next few weeks so I've moved my tank downstairs. It was a hell of an operation and I was unable to catch all the fish. After about ten minutes of trying I came to realise that it would probably be less stressful to just try to move the tank with the fish in, which I did as slowly and gently as I could.

All the fish are back in now, and I don't plan on turning the lights on for the rest of today at least.

Just wondering if there's anything else I should consider doing to reduce the stress of the fish after this whole experience.

I would advise you just leave them be for the time being, anymore interference may just cause more stress.

How did you eventually shift the white spot?

White spot is still there, though it does seem to be descreasing very slowly in severity.

Ideally I would have waited til next week or the week after to move the tank so as not to be stressing the fish while they're diseased, but it needed to be done this week.

maybe some stress zyme? or some of the declors have stress relieving chems in?
