Hello. I recently added 2 male fancy guppies to my 10 gallon tank & was wondering if it is possible to just keep males in a tank or do there need to be some females too? I don't really want tons of baby fish & also I just like the coloring of the males better. the 2 guppies already seem 'interested' in my 2 female platys. :)

I used to keep only males and they all seemed to be the best of friends. I only moved them to the tank with some females since they were sooooooo pretty I couldn't stand trying to get some more beauties............

I agree, males are more kind to eachother tha females. I have both, the males seem to be just chatting about football, while the females keep bothering eachother...

That's pretty much how it was in my tank! The boys weren't so busy competing for the women, so they were always hanging out.........now that they have women to chase, they aren't so buddy buddy. Kinda sad.............

you should add females especially with fancy tailed guppies or you run a serious rik of fin rot
