Hi folks.....

I just joined Tropical Fish Forums and, after browsing around a little, have seen some familiar 'faces' from other forums I frequent.

I've been keeping freshwater tropical fish since my first Metaframe 10 gallon back in 1964. My area of specialization is in African river fish, especially the Polypterids (bichirs) and Ctenopoma species, though I've kept most major groups of fish over the years (except Rift Valley cichlids, rainbowfish, and goldfish). I have a 'soft spot' for Anabantids of all types....especially the more 'oddball' ones.

Good to find another place to 'talk fish'! :D
