Just Got Two Girls..

hey.
i just bought 2 girls to put in a tank witha male ( girls in one half male in other, divided)
the girls look VERY small compared to the male, so im guessing there quite young, could you take a looksey at dis pic n see what u think? how old do you think they are?

also, one of the females seems very agressive towards the other keeps chasing it around? do you think i should take it back, add another female to spread the aggression or will she calm down in time?

She looks the size of Chance. She is tiny though and it makes her look smaller next to that male.lol

females really should be kept in groups of 5+ to help spread aggression, and my females are the same, 3 times smaller than my male

How big is the tank? It should be easy enough to divide the girls section again if it's big enough, like diagonally with a sheet of glass so you can see through it.

i put the one being chased in the com. tank for now ( its not bothering anything )
i cant divide up the tanl ne more to be honest... not really big enough. n id love to go down my local n grab like a 3 gal simple tank for £10, but my mum aint havin it...

maybe if it behaves it can stay in the com. tank? what u think?

Well if she behaves then she should be fine in the community tank

That girl in the pic is UBER adorable though!! Makes that male look HUGE hehe..
Wish I could find some teeny tiny females like that! Not that I don't love my big gals I always have or anything hehe

I have my girl in a community tank and she is the best behaved. She's with guppies, mollies, sword tails, tetras and a pleco.

just keep watch over everyone. as she grows ang gets older she might become agressive tward the other fish.
