Just Got My New Light Fixture!

I just got my Coralife Aqualight T5 High Output light fixture & I'm psyched!!!

So I set it up immediately and it looks okay, but very blue. It's the version that came with 1 daylight bulb & 1 actinic. Yes, I realize that an actinic bulb isn't the best thing for a planted freshwater tank, but the price was right & I figured I can always change the bulb out for a Colormax pink one instead.

The fish are all acting weird..............I don't think they like it, yet anyway.

Yeah, like they're hiding from the light a bit. Especially the big Gouramis. They're hanging around the bottom near the plants rather than the top where they usually are. I even fed them and they waited for the flake to drop rather than buzzing around the top. The color of the Von Rio & Lemon Tetras looks subdued and washed out. I don't like it and I'm going to change it

I don't know, compare the coloration of these pics to my signature picture. I think I like the warm color of the sig better. With the actinic blue light you lose all the reds, they become burgundy & brownish:
